As an aftermath, the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced  this information by its embassy in Moldova.

Other than that, the head of the Russian delegation in the United Regulatory Commission, vice-chairman of the United Regulatory Commission from the Russian Federation, senior counsellor in the Russian embassy in the Republic of Moldova Vasiliy Korchmar made an announcement in which he emphasized that:

–          Not a single Russian representative from the United Military Command or United Regulatory Commission made any announcements to the media regarding the blockade of Russian cargo for Russian peacekeepers;

–          Information of instances of blockading cargo in the interests of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation from Ukraine’s part does not correspond to reality and, as indicated by the Russian government, are “journalists’ fantasies”.

–          There exists only one case of not allowing a Russian officer of the Russian contingent to pass through the checkpoint, however this case has nothing to do with the abovementioned.

As a result, the Russian counterparty made an official announcement at the meeting of the United Regulatory Commission on March 20, 2014 that the news spread on the related matter is not correct.
