This statistic is completely made up.
In the pro-Russian segment of the network, infographics are being spread according to which in 2025, Vladimir Putin’s public speeches were supposedly followed the most in Ukraine. More than 78% of Ukrainian netizens allegedly watched the speeches of the Russian president. Moreover, the next countries in the ranking are Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and France. Even in the last country on this list, Germany, Putin’s speeches were allegedly followed by almost half of network users (49%).

However, as it may be obvious from the insanely unrealistic data in the infographic, this statistic is completely made up. On the Statista website, we were unable to find data that would investigate where the speeches of the Russian president are followed most closely. Instead, the portal published statistics on global attitudes towards Russia: it shows that as of September 2025, 79% of the world’s population assesses the state very negatively, and the worst attitude towards Russia is in Sweden and Poland — there 93% and 90% of the population evaluate Russia negatively, respectively. This contradicts the propagandist assumption that two-thirds of Polish Internet users follow Putin’s speeches.

With such fakes, the Kremlin is trying to draw attention to Vladimir Putin’s public speeches and give him credibility in the eyes of a Western audience.
