The original source of this «news» was a satirical (parody) account on x.com, which is spreading deliberately false information. The photo used by the propagandists is not of a military pilot at all, but of a Canadian volunteer named Dmitry Cherkassky, who is completely unrelated to military aviation.
A fake story has spread on social networks and news sites that a Ukrainian pilot named Dmitry Cherkassky allegedly stole an F-16 fighter jet, flew it to Belarus and landed the plane at an airfield in Velyky Bokov. The only «proof» was a photo of a person, presented as a Ukrainian pilot.

The original source of this «news» was a satirical (parody) account on x.com, the description of which states: «I condemn the content of my tweets». Nevertheless, many users, not understanding the ironic context, began to spread the fake as fact.
In addition to the fact that this information was spread by a satirical account, other factual inaccuracies and forgeries also indicate that the information is fake. The photo used in the publication is actually a photo of Dmitry Cherkassky. This person is a Canadian citizen, a volunteer of Ukrainian origin, who has no relation to military service or aviation.
In addition, there was no official confirmation from the Defense Ministries of Belarus or Ukraine about the landing of an F-16 on the territory of Belarus, although such an event, had it occurred, would certainly have been accompanied by a flashy information and propaganda campaign from Russia.
Russia has repeatedly tried to spread fake news about Ukrainian servicemen voluntarily switching to the Russian side, as well as that the F-16s transferred to Ukraine have already been completely destroyed.
