A number of Russian media outlets — both political sources and tabloid media — wrote that Ivanka Trump, on her personal profile on social networks, allegedly admires the beauty and style of Russian women. Donald Trump’s daughter allegedly shared a video from a corporate party at the Russian company Simaland, where the crowd danced to the patriotic song and noted that Russian women dress much better than American women. She explained this by the country’s economic boom, and praised their approach to «traditional values».
However, in fact, the profile that shared this video has no relation to Ivanka Trump. This is a fan account that publishes low-quality posts designed to garner as many reactions as possible from the conservative audience in the US. For example: «Put 🇺🇸 if you support Trump despite everything» or «Do you think Barack Obama should go to prison for everything he has done to the US? YES or NO». The post about Russian women was just as short. The account owners simply shared a video with the caption «This is Russia. What do you notice?». Most users noted that there were very few men in the video and explained this by the war: «Putin killed all their boyfriends». Some indeed wrote that the women in the video were beautiful and well-dressed, while others liked the fact that there were no «migrants» or «fat people» in the video. The post received over 2,000 responses, and not all of them were unanimously positive and enthusiastic about «Russian women and traditional values»; in any case, this video and the discussion are in no way related to Ivanka Trump.
