Together with the Polish Centre for International Relations StopFake is launching «Information Warfare on the Internet,” a project devoted to countering pro-Kremlin disinformation in Central and Eastern Europe. Think tanks from the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Moldova and Slovakia are also partnering with us on this project.

Our goal is to monitor online media, search for common patterns, tendencies and key themes that are being manipulated, determine if disinformation strategies are changing, track similarities or differences, depending on the countries where they are being propagated.

StopFake will specifically monitor Kremlin propaganda in Ukraine, including Ukrainian media, which unwittingly or otherwise, sometimes also publishes inaccurate information and Russia generated propaganda.

The conclusions from this comparative research, as well as recommendations on countering Kremlin propaganda, will be presented in a report to be distributed among decision-makers in our region.  The project is financed by the Visegrad Fund.
